The Dont'e Thornton Jr. selection is the head-turner. The Commanders reached 71 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Slater. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
