The rest of the league will want that one back. Jeffrey Bassa tumbling to the Browns in slot 215 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They are betting Griffith proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
