Pearsall should have been long gone. The Broncos pounced, and earned a B-.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Ricky Pearsall got past him. The Broncos do not have to explain a thing at the Round 7 slot. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. The Melton pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at tight end and running back.

Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Every board in the league had Wilson lower, and that gap is the story.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
