Wease should have been long gone. The Broncos pounced, and earned a D-.

The phones were a trap the Broncos kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Wease at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They will need Castles to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
