The Falcons let Webb fall into their laps, and walked away with a D-.

The Falcons lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. Put together, it is a D-.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Gadsden II has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

However the rest shakes out, Webb at that price is a win they earned. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.

In pick No. 21 they get a disruptor off the edge, reach and all. A clean fit for the roster.

No drama and no debate, Benjamin Morrison went about where he belonged in slot 41. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.

A reach for Jake Majors in the Round 3 slot; a little patience would have been rewarded. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.

Oronde Gadsden II at the 117th overall pick jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. The roster fit checks out.

Clay Webb in pick 238 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
