You build a draft on nights like this. Will Howard had no business being available in pick 172, and the Seahawks did the only sane thing and turned in the card.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Reaching for Jackson left real value on the table behind him. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
