The Bears got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the B-.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Bears did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Gentry.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
