The Buccaneers let Taylor fall into their laps, and walked away with a D.

The phones were a trap the Buccaneers kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D is the result.

Getting Taylor where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. The cost of the Higgins reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They will regret leaving offensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

They left with interior defensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, offensive lineman very much included.
