They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Drake Maye is the Patriots' quarterback, full stop. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They are betting Hartman proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Mims.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
