There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Texans started one anyway for Logan Lee, 69 picks ahead of schedule. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The Williams pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher and quarterback still on the board. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Mitchell steal is the beam this whole class leans on. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
