The 49ers cashed the board's mistake on Brooks: B.

The board owed the 49ers one, and it paid up: Tahj Brooks, the No. 118 name on the board, sitting there at the 249th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Reaching for Burch left real value on the table behind him. The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
