The Texans won the night they stopped McCaffrey from sliding. Grade: B-.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Luke McCaffrey tumbling to the Texans in slot 224 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Every board in the league had Hopper lower, and that gap is the story. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Spending an early pick on cornerback with quarterback and tight end open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
