The Texans got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D.

The Joshua Cephus pick is the one that will follow the Texans into the fall. They took him 42 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. On value alone, Odunze makes the weekend a net positive.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
