Bassa should have been long gone. The Seahawks pounced, and earned a D-.

Boards are made to be trusted, and the Seahawks shredded theirs for Bryson Eason. He came off 81 spots early, and the room will hear about it. A D- that will need time and luck to look better.

Bassa falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Quantity was the play, for better or worse.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
