Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Cooper Beebe got past him. The Seahawks do not have to explain a thing at pick 125. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

The cost of the Harrell reach is exactly the players who went right after him. It is not that Smith is a bad player; it is that the Seahawks had louder needs to answer first. Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
