The Bengals kept it disciplined and banked a B.

There is reaching, and then there is Gabe Hall at the 175th pick. The Bengals jumped the board by 43 and dared it to prove them wrong. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Paul at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They punted on linebacker, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but linebacker.
