Sainristil should have been long gone. The Steelers pounced, and earned a B.

Somebody in No. 95 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Steelers sat still while Mike Sainristil, the No. 75 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. With quarterback, safety and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on offensive lineman is the choice that costs them. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 4 of 9 of the wish list covered.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
