Draft Grade — Titans
Overall

The Titans let Williams fall into their laps, and walked away with a B. Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Isaiah Williams got past him. The Titans do not have to explain a thing at the 228th pick. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.
In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
Pick Analysis
Pick7
Rnd1
Olumuyiwa Fashanu
In the 7th overall pick they get protection for the quarterback at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick38
Rnd2
Xavier Worthy
Xavier Worthy in pick No. 38 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick106
Rnd4
Mike Sainristil
Mike Sainristil at the Round 4 slot is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick144
Rnd5
Malik Mustapha
Malik Mustapha at Round 5, Pick 8 is a sensible buy, a touch better than market for the safety. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick184
Rnd6
Isaiah Davis
No edge and no loss on Isaiah Davis in slot 184; it is a wash and a sensible one. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick228
Rnd7
Isaiah Williams
Taking Isaiah Williams in the 228th pick is close to grand larceny; a wide receiver that good had no business lasting this long. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
