Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Bengals were there to profit. Jalon Walker, the No. 134 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 6 slot. The bottom line is a respectable B.

Porter has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. The phones were where this weekend was really won. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The veteran additions, Brandin Cooks chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
