The Buccaneers torched the value chart for Tyler Batty, taking him 158 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Landing Bassa that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. It is not that Paul Jr. is a bad player; it is that the Buccaneers had louder needs to answer first.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
