You can hear the double-takes from here. The Buccaneers took Aydan White at Round 6, Pick 23, roughly 70 spots before his name belonged. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The Etienne pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The Mondon Jr. pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher and quarterback.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
