The Dolphins did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Lathan Ransom fell into the 156th overall pick. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

They are betting Alexander proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
