You can draft well and still miss the point. The Bears did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to edge rusher, which was the need that mattered most. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

However the rest shakes out, Hampton at that price is a win they earned. They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
