A sensible, unshowy class lands the Buccaneers a B-.

If confidence were a draft strategy, the Buccaneers would have aced it. Que Robinson at slot 157 is 30 spots clear of where he belonged. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. On value alone, Mafah makes the weekend a net positive.

The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss. Job largely done: interior defensive lineman settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
