Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Malaki Starks got past him. The Cardinals do not have to explain a thing at pick 47. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They left with quarterback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
