This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Jalon Daniels, the No. 91 name on the board, stolen at the 150th overall pick.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
