Larceny in the 205th overall pick lands the Buccaneers a B, Hancock and all.

Somebody in pick 205 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Buccaneers sat still while Jordan Hancock, the No. 71 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Every board in the league had Prieskorn lower, and that gap is the story.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
