The rest of the league had time to spare on CJ West; the Cowboys did not wait, grabbing him 45 spots ahead at slot 172. Too much went sideways, and the D+ is the honest tally.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. However the rest shakes out, Rourke at that price is a win they earned. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
