You could see the war room lean forward. Jay Higgins at Round 7, Pick 18 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.
