Somebody in slot 248 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Giants sat still while Phil Mafah, the No. 167 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

If Batty pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.
