You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Dolphins did exactly that with Addison West in pick 160.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. With edge rusher unsolved, spending premium capital on safety is the choice that costs them.

Landing Howard that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. On the needs board they went 7 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
