The Broncos let Smith fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

Somebody in the Round 6 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Broncos sat still while Brashard Smith, the No. 100 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

Every board in the league had Ferguson lower, and that gap is the story. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Linebacker is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
