The Cody Simon pick is the one that will follow the Eagles into the fall. They took him 37 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

Getting Dike where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
