Sanders should have been long gone. The Packers pounced, and earned a B.

This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Raheim Sanders, the No. 146 name on the board, stolen at Round 7, Pick 34.

Reaching for Batty left real value on the table behind him. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
