Draft Grade — Packers
Overall B
ValueB+ NeedB TradesB+ FutureB-
More right than wrong for the Packers, and a B to prove it.

There is reaching, and then there is Cam Miller at slot 196. The Packers jumped the board by 69 and dared it to prove them wrong. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Majors. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.

Pick Analysis
Pick23 Rnd1 Jahdae Barron
In the 23rd pick they get a sticky cover corner at a price that makes it sweeter. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick58 Rnd2 Armand Membou
A straight-up fair deal on Armand Membou at pick No. 58, value and slot in agreement. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick87 Rnd3 Alfred Collins
You do not let an interior defensive lineman like Alfred Collins reach slot 87 and blink. They did not. The roster fit checks out.
Pick122 Rnd4 Jalen Royals
Jalen Royals at Round 4, Pick 21 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick126 Rnd4 Azareye'h Thomas
The board fumbled Azareye'h Thomas all the way to No. 126, and they scooped it up. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick158 Rnd5 Jake Majors
They barely believed it either: Jake Majors still on the board at pick 158. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick196 Rnd6 Cam Miller
Cam Miller at slot 196 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick197 Rnd6 Jonah Monheim
Jonah Monheim at No. 197 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick237 Rnd7 Elijhah Badger
This one needs a full-page explanation: Elijhah Badger in the Round 7 slot, miles early. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick250 Rnd7 Jack Kiser
A linebacker of that caliber at Round 7, Pick 34 is the definition of value, full stop. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
Pick253 Rnd7 Logan Parr
Logan Parr is a better player than pick 253 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
