The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Will Howard, the Round 5 slot, roughly 70 picks past where he belonged. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B+.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. Leaving tight end unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Reaching for Lindenberg left real value on the table behind him. Trent McDuffie gives the group a proven body among the projects.
