Boards are made to be trusted, and the Packers shredded theirs for Tyler Batty. He came off 42 spots early, and the room will hear about it. A weekend to file away and forget, and an F to match.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring. They banked enough surplus on McMillan to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, it will take a lot of luck to make this look better later.
