After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Dolphins committed. Fernando Mendoza is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Every board in the league had Birchmeier lower, and that gap is the story. The Love pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but interior defensive lineman.
