A costly weekend of dealing drags the Dolphins to a D.

The Dolphins did not so much draft Mikail Kamara as overpay for him, 46 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. The math is unkind, and the D follows.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
