Nobody else had Trey Moore anywhere near pick No. 138. The Dolphins did, by 43 spots, and that gap is the whole story. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The Smith pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman and linebacker still on the board. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Aguilar.

Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
