The Malachi Lawrence selection is the head-turner. The Dolphins reached 47 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Dolphins indulged a want in Wheatley while a need in interior defensive lineman and linebacker stayed open.

Aguilar at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.
