The war room fell hard for Mikail Kamara, and it showed at Round 3, Pick 11: 33 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.

The Dolphins indulged a want in Thomas while a need in interior defensive lineman, tight end and other spots stayed open. The Aguilar pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

The trade work was a quiet net positive.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
