It is a puzzling start. The Dolphins had interior defensive lineman, tight end and other spots to solve and reached instead for Jakobe Thomas, a safety, at the 111th pick.

Reaching for Kamara left real value on the table behind him. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
