The steal of the weekend belongs to the Dolphins and Robertson: B-.

Somebody in pick No. 218 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Dolphins sat still while Sawyer Robertson, the No. 187 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

Every board in the league had Trigg lower, and that gap is the story. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

It is not that Wheatley is a bad player; it is that the Dolphins had louder needs to answer first. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
