Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the 49ers.

The board owed the 49ers one, and it paid up: Domani Jackson, the No. 104 name on the board, sitting there at the 134th pick like a gift left on the doorstep. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

Reaching for Halton left real value on the table behind him. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
