A costly weekend of dealing drags the Bears to a D. When the story of this class is written, it opens with Dominic Zvada at the Round 5 slot, a reach of 56 spots that the board flatly disagrees with. Put together, it is a D.
They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The Haulcy pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback.
They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
