There is reaching, and then there is Jayden Maiava at the 52nd overall pick. The Packers jumped the board by 46 and dared it to prove them wrong. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The Shuler pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.
