Boards are made to be trusted, and the Saints shredded theirs for Johntay Cook. He came off 189 spots early, and the room will hear about it.

However the rest shakes out, Berry at that price is a win they earned. For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with edge rusher the one that mattered most.

The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
