You could see the war room lean forward. Wyatt Milum at pick No. 199 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
