Whoever sat across the table from the Bears should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

The cost of the Murphy reach is exactly the players who went right after him. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Will Anderson Jr. pickup adds a known quantity to a class of unknowns.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
